Safety is always our first priority. Our rules are designed to keep all participants and staff safe while
also allowing for a fun environment and experience for all. Attendees must follow all rules. We reserve
the right, at staff members’ discretion, to have participants sit out for a portion and/or be removed from
the floor if rules are not being followed. Refunds will not be issued if this occurs. We thank you for
respecting our rules, our facility, our staff, and other participants.
General Rules
- All participants must have a completed waiver on file before
stepping on the floor.
If under 18 years of age, the waiver must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian.
Waivers may not be signed by other family members or friends. A waiver must be completed even if
stepping on the floor to observe or assist your child.
- Leave all valuables at home or in the car. Remove all jewelry
(rings, bracelets, necklaces, dangling earrings, etc.), cash/cards, cell phones, etc. before
stepping on the floor.
Items brought on the floor are at risk of being lost or broken. Wearing jewelry creates high
potential for injury. The Park is not responsible for broken, lost, or stolen items.
- All children 5 and under must have a parent/guardian on the floor
with them at all times during open gym sessions.
We encourage you to enjoy our preschool play zone which offers age and size appropriate obstacles
and play items. There is no charge for the accompanying adult.
- All children 10 and under must have a parent/guardian readily
available and within the facility at all times during open gyms sessions.
Open gym is not a drop and go format. Trained staff will oversee general safety and assistance to
athletes, but we ask parents to supervise their child’s behavior and intervene if necessary.
Active Participation Rules
- All participants must listen to staff directions and instructions
at all times.
Our staff is trained to create a safe and engaging environment for all participants. Please show
them respect as they are present for everyone’s safety and benefit.
- All individuals on the floor must be wearing clean, dry shoes
with closed toes.
Crocs, sandals, flip-flops, boots, socks, bare feet, and wet/muddy shoes are not allowed on the
floor.
- One person is allowed on an obstacle at a time.
. All obstacles are designed for a single participant. Please be patient and take turns. Do not
begin your turn on an obstacle until it is clear of all other participants.
- No running in the facility.
Participants are moving in all directions within our facility and running creates high potential
for accidents.
- No horseplay, wrestling, tag, etc. is allowed.
For everyone’s safety and enjoyment, this is a no contact facility.
- Keep hands to yourself.
This applies to general interactions and assistance on an obstacle. Even if well intentioned,
attempting to help a participant on an obstacle, with a swing, etc. can instead hurt that
participant. Only staff may physically intervene with participants that are active on an obstacle,
either with permission from the participant or in the case of potential injury.
- Be aware of your surroundings.
Participants are moving in all directions, on the floor, on obstacles, and through the air in our
facility. It is important that you are aware of your surrounding at all times. Other participants
might be drilling a skill or line so please be aware of what others are doing so that you do not
interfere and/or result in an impact. Our facility is a shared space during open gym sessions so we
must work together to share the space and obstacles and respect the training being done by each
participant. Communicate, take turns, and respect other participants.
- When attempting the warped wall, you must be facing the wall at
all times.
If you do not make it up the warped wall, continue to face the wall and walk backward down using
your hands for support. Turning around on the wall creates high potential for accidents and injury.
- Keep your arms in when falling and either land on your feet and
roll onto your butt and back (if you have backward momentum) or tuck your head and roll forward (if
you have forward momentum).
Attempting to prevent a fall by putting your hands out creates high potential for accidents and
injury. Trust the pads-they do a great job at keeping you safe.
- Only grab the obstacle itself. Do not grab straps, carabiners,
eye bolts, or any other metal hardware or support.
Grabbing items not intended to be used creates high potential for accidents and injury.
- Use all obstacles as intended and as designed.
We love creativity and encourage you to share ideas with our staff; however, use of obstacles in
ways other than intended creates a high potential for accidents and injury and/or compromises the
integrity of the obstacle and puts it at risk for breakage.
- Leave obstacles where they are set up.
Our facility and obstacles are regularly changed/switched out and set up is intentionally designed
each week to optimize instruction and practice for all participants. Our staff is trained on proper
set up and spacing of obstacles for safety purposes and optimal performance. If there is an
obstacle/skill you would like to work during an open gym session, please speak to a staff member who
will assist you if possible.
- An inclusive, encouraging, and respectful environment is a must
within our facility.
We train together and build each other up. Empowered individuals empower others. If you see someone
struggling, kindly offer help and respect if it is not wanted. If offered help or tips, know that it
comes from a place of caring and either graciously accept it or respectfully decline it. Disrespect
will not be tolerated at any time.
